An Introduction

1. Solution background

As the market share of new energy vehicles continues to increase, charging issues have also become a concern for most new energy vehicle users. Currently, there are two solutions on the market: charging and battery replacement, but charging is still the mainstream solution. Therefore, as an important infrastructure for electric vehicle energy replenishment, the convenience, safety and intelligence level of charging piles have become the focus of user attention. Traditional charging piles still have many disadvantages, and they cannot control charging intelligently, which is not conducive to promotion to various scenarios. We have launched a car charging pile solution based on Bluetooth BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology, aiming to improve the charging experience and promote it to various application scenarios more efficiently and quickly.

2. Solution introduction

The solution mainly consists of three parts: charging pile Bluetooth module, mobile phone APP/applet, and cloud platform (optional). Charging pile Bluetooth module (HY-234004 series): mainly responsible for wireless connection and data exchange between charging piles and mobile phone APP/applets. Supports functions such as user identity verification, charging pile start and stop control, charging status viewing, and parameter setting.

Mobile APP/Mini Program: Users can scan the QR code of the charging pile or use the Bluetooth recognition function to directly connect to the charging pile, unlock the charging pile, check the charging status, pay, and other operations.

Cloud platform (optional): used for remote monitoring, data analysis, and operation and maintenance management of charging piles. When the charging pile is connected to the network, data such as charging records can be uploaded to the cloud platform to achieve more comprehensive data management and service optimization.

3. Features of low-power Bluetooth solution

Available in areas without signal: Bluetooth BLE technology does not rely on mobile networks and can work normally even in areas with no signal or weak signal, such as remote areas and underground places. And most electronic devices currently support Bluetooth, which can ensure the stability and reliability of charging piles.

Low power consumption: Bluetooth BLE technology has extremely low power consumption characteristics, can run for a long time and connect multiple devices, which helps to extend the life of the device and reduce energy consumption.

Convenient unlocking: Verified users only need to turn on Bluetooth to connect to the charging pile, thereby quickly unlocking the charging pile and improving user satisfaction.

High security: Bluetooth pairing can identify the user's identity to effectively prevent unauthorized charging and ensure the safety of the charging pile and user assets.

Bluetooth connection authentication: Supports the function of automatic reconnection after the first connection verification pairing is successful, ensuring the security and convenience of the connection.

Bluetooth control charging pile: realize the start and stop control, status reading and record upload of the charging pile through the mobile phone APP/applet.

Bluetooth plug and charge: After turning on the plug and charge mode, the mobile phone Bluetooth device can automatically connect and start charging when it is close to the charging pile, improving the user experience.

4. Solution implementation

The low-power Bluetooth charging pile solution has been applied to various types of charging piles. Including public parking lots, large shopping malls, roadside parking spaces, residential communities, remote areas and villages, the charging pile Bluetooth solution can cover them well. This solution reduces the deployment cost and maintenance difficulty of charging piles, and helps promote the popularization and development of new energy vehicles.
